Pacific Crest Trail 2014!

You might be reading this and saying, "Hmm...Pacific Crest Trail, what in the heck is that?" Well it is hiking trail that runs from the US Mexican Border (Campo, CA) to Canada (Manning Park in British Columbia)! It is a 2,650 mile long adventure that Josh and myself (Sam) are attempting to thru-hike starting in April of 2014.

If you want to learn more about the Pacific Crest Trail a good source would be the trails website which is pcta.org. This site goes into a lot of really great information not only about the trail but about the association that is committed to the trail. Also I know Wikipedia can be a sketchy source but they  have a great information base, the link for that is http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pacific_Crest_Trail.

Now, what is this blog all about? Josh and I want to post our planning information as well as keep people up to date while we are on the trail. So if you want to see what it is like getting ready for the PCT (Pacific Crest Trail) and read some experiences from us check back often!
